Similar to a volunteer fire fighter but I get paid.
We have a community fire station in our village. I live about a quater of a mile from it and I'm on call with a bleeper.
We get paid a small retainer fee, and then an hourly rate when on a shout.

Welcome to our little club house. My name is Travis Fleming "Prez". Cant wait to compete against you. We have a lot of fun here, and are basically using this first season as a test.
